EL AL named most secure airline

EL AL has been chosen as the airline with the best security by Global Traveler Magazine, El Al announced this week. The annual survey, in which Global Traveler readers select their "favorites" in the travel industry, named EL AL as the No. 1 airline for security.

Offer Gat, EL AL's CEO for North and Central America, recently accepted the honor at an official awards luncheon in New York, which was attended by more than 300 travel industry professionals and media representatives, El Al said.
