ST.KITTS A new agreement between the St. Michael’s Foundation Limited and Hyatt Hotels & Resorts brings to St. Kitts an unprecedented five-star resort destination. The official signing ceremony took place yesterday at the East Caribbean Central Bank Conference Center.

The project, Cockleshell Bay, includes plans for a Park Hyatt St. Kitts resort and spa offering luxury residences and hillside estates. Cockleshell Bay’s Marina Village offers marina condominiums and townhomes surrounding the 160-berth marina, managed and operated by Camper & Nicholsons–a company that specializes in premium marinas worldwide. CEO of St. Michael’s Foundation, Chris Kanhai explained, “St. Kitts is like no other island in the Caribbean–it is a tropical paradise.” Mr. Kanhai added, “Our relationship with Hyatt Hotels & Resorts is very special–our mutual commitment to excellence is solid and I know we’re leading a new era of tourism in St. Kitts that will benefit guests, residents and the region in many ways.”

Cotton and Company, the award winning sales and marketing firm based in South Florida, was chosen for the project. CEO Stephann Cotton says, “The beauty of St. Kitts and the Cockleshell Beach location combined with the luxury of Park Hyatt make this a truly unique offering.”
