AirTran Airways announced that the airline has moved from Concourse A to Concourse B at the Charleston International Airport in Charleston, South Carolina.

The switch follows the remodeling of Concourse B and will allow AirTran Airways passengers quicker access to the airline's gate, B4. Passengers of the low-fare carrier will now enjoy larger waiting areas, new carpet, and air-conditioned jetways leading to North America's newest all-Boeing fleet.

"This move allows AirTran Airways passengers in Charleston to enjoy a modern concourse that is more convenient and aesthetically pleasing," said Tad Hutcheson, vice president of marketing and sales for AirTran Airways. "We are always looking for ways to enhance our travelers' experience. By offering features like Wi-Fi on every flight, 22 brands of Coca-Cola products onboard, and relocating to the most convenient, efficient terminal at the airport, we continue to offer the highest-quality product at some of the lowest costs around."
