Michigan pair to spend 67 days as Orlando tourists

Holland, MI — A couple of Holland natives will spend 67 days visiting the tourist spots of Orlando and central Florida.

Holland, MI — A couple of Holland natives will spend 67 days visiting the tourist spots of Orlando and central Florida.

Kyle Post and Stacey Doornbos — both of whom grew up in Holland but now live in New York City — won a competition to represent Orlando’s “Make Me Smile” campaign and will participate in a reality show marketing promotion for the Orlando, Fla., tourism industry.

The two will spend 67 days touring Orlando and central Florida attractions. Their trip, “67 days of Smiles” starts Aug. 27.

The childhood friends will live in a two-bedroom condo in Downtown Orlando, according to Orlandoinfo.com. They be given cell phones, digital video and still cameras to document the experiences, a Dollar Rent A Car, and a stipend of $25,000.
