Early Bird Specials

Great low prices on TourCrafters' Italy packages for winter

eTN Staff Writer  Jul 24, 2009

For almost 30 years, TourCrafters, the family-owned Italian tour operator, has been known for good-deal packages to Italy and Europe. But now they've outdone themselves. For the winter season — October 26 to March 31 — TourCrafters is offering 5-day/4-night Early Bird Specials starting at US$425 to Rome, US$389 to Florence, and US$432 to Venice. The booking deadline is August 30.

These special prices are less than US$100 a day for packages that include transatlantic air fare from New York, comfortable and convenient hotel accommodations with a private bath (Hotels Brasile in Rome, Meridiana in Florence and Hesperia in Venice), daily breakfast, service charges, and taxes.

Travelers who want an upgraded hotel can choose the 4-star Hotel Michelangelo (US$606) or 5-star Bernini Bristol (US$953) in Rome, the 4-star Grand Hotel Baglioni (US$595) in Florence, and the 4-star Carlton & Grand Canal (US$503), or heavenly 5-star Luna Baglioni (US$1,082) in Venice.

Air fare add-ons from other cities are also available: US$50 from Boston, US$95 from Chicago, and US$120 from Miami to Rome; US$19 from Boston, US$72.50 from Chicago, and US$90 from Miami to Florence and Venice.

All prices quoted are per person, double occupancy, are subject to availability, and do not include airport taxes of US$115 or fuel surcharges of US$260, which are not included in the quoted price because they are subject to change by the airline. Reservations must be paid for within 72 hours of booking.
