You have to love a resort that is so successful, they aren't particularly interested in generating new wholesale contracts, and they sign the kiss-off email with: One Love.

I first stayed at Rockhouse more years ago than I care to share; more recently my son returned with his dad for a father/son break, and it still has what it always had: that hip, cool West End Negril vibe that keep folks coming back for more.

I saw a destination wedding featured in a consumer magazine last year that was held at Rockhouse, and it struck me as a fantastic place for a couple to start their new lives together. Thatched huts set jutting out over rocks with grottos, a glorious sunset ceremony, amazing island food, strong Jamaican rum drinks, and Bob Marley playing "Is This Love" as you share your first dance.

A consistent winner of numerous awards and with a dedicated onsite wedding coordinator, romance travel professionals sending clients to Rockhouse for a destination wedding can rest assured they are in great hands. Be sure to encourage clients to opt for a resort buyout (40 guests) to ensure total privacy and getting the party started from the moment everyone checks in. With room rates starting around US$120, it's a hip bargain for couples who want their family and friends to be able to afford to travel to their destination wedding.

Tip: My son reports the restaurant staff/chefs are wonderful and will go out of their way to prepare exactly what you want and how you want it, which is helpful if young guests are attending the wedding.

Wow, it's looks like a great place though! I guess they will have to take a good look at their security on the island again!

That is a great place, but what happens when you walk out side their gate alone?
Your approached in a second to buy drugs, say no thanks and then it all goes down hill quickly. They just bought last year or so the property next door that had it's american owner and wife burnt to death while they were still awake and alive! Great Wedding Vibs? Yes
