Armenia establishes air link with Italy

Scheduled daytime flights will be undertaken weekly on a Wednesday with a duration of approximately 4 hours. Round-trip tickets from Yerevan are anticipated to cost around US$570. The Armenian Tourism Development Agency, with the support of its Italian representative, Nadia Pasqual, has made great strides in promoting Armenia to the Italian market. So much so, Italian arrivals to Armenian Hotels increased from 2007 to 2008 by 55 percent compared to 18 percent for arrivals overall.
