Set sail with a tale of romance

My husband and I have been married for 13 years together for 15. We have great kids and a booming business. One and a half years ago I had cancer. We struggeled through that and many other hard times. We never had a wedding so we decided to renew our vows December 1 2009 in Jamaica on the beach with friends and family sence we were alone the first time. We decided to do it right! We arrived late the Friday before so Saturday was our first full day there. About 8:30 pm my husband returned to our room while I remained at the theatre to get front row seats. Well, as I walked to our seats I fell off a 2 ft drop and my face hit the marble edge. Three front teeth were knocked out I had to have stiches in my lip and both knees were black. I stayed and endored the pain for the wedding I had waited for. Tuesday came the wedding party all were taken to the beach and the tram never came back to get me and my daughter half an hour late I flagged down another tram and headed to the beach. I arrived at the beach and noticed the dress I waited for had black streeks down the front from the tram. What else could happen? The priest said " you may kiss your husband" I couldn't! I had to drink champane through a straw and the straw kept shooting out of the glass because of bubbles. Everyone on the resort thought my husband hurt me because of the fat lip. I could do nothing but laugh. Through it all we were able to still have the wedding we waited for. The next day my mother passed away from cancer. I think I have to do it again!
