Year-round flights between Thunder Bay and Toronto launched
Porter Airlines is introducing year-round flights between Thunder Bay and Toronto City Centre Airport (TCCA) following strong interest in advance of the summer schedule debuting today.
The inaugural Thunder Bay flight touched down this morning and was greeted by a ceremonial water cannon salute. Guests participated in a reception attended by local politicians, tourism officials, and community business representatives.
“Porter is seeing an overwhelmingly positive response to our unique service in Thunder Bay,” said Robert Deluce, president and CEO of Porter Airlines. “We’re pleased to be extending the summer program all year based on high demand.”
Porter’s Thunder Bay schedule is consistent year-round with three daily roundtrips during the week and two roundtrips on both Saturday and Sunday. Connecting flights to other Porter destinations, including Ottawa, Montreal, New York, Chicago, and Boston are also available.
